Born to eternal life on Thursday, January 8, 2015, age 86 years. Survived by his former wife, Mary Jane (nee Curran) Montaba. Loving dad of Mary (John) Jacobs, Jenny (Maynard) McKillen and Laurie Richter. Proud grandpa of David Jacobs, Gregory (Arica) Jacobs, Lisa (Christopher) Anderson, Mike (Derek Blair) Wicinski, Julie Richter and Gina Richter. Preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Montaba and Marie Bartelt and brother, Richard Montaba. Dear brother-in-law of Gwen Montaba. Also survived by his cousin and close friend, David (Sharon) Middleton, other relatives and friends. Bob was a retired psychologist from the Milwaukee County Mental Health Center, a proud alumnus of UW-Madison and the University of Missouri. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Hanson Senior Golf Club, tutored at Eisenhower Elementary School and was a very proud U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II.
