Robert G. McDermott

Passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the age of 89 years. Father of Jody (Danie) Bootha and Penny (Jim) Diehn. Grandfather of Zachary (Janet) Pawlowski and Thomas (fiancé Lisa Mutchie) Diehn. Great-grandfather of Alex Pawlowski. Further survived by his longtime friend and companion of many years, Peggy Padock. Robert was preceded in death by his sister Gail (Al) Hawthorne.

Robert was a faithful servant of the City and County of Milwaukee. He also served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Robert had a love for riding motorcycles, taking numerous cross-country trips. A side interest of his was membership in the Robert Burns Club, paying homage to his Scottish ancestry.
