Injeski, Robert G. Born to Eternal Life on December 28, 2022 at the age of 86. He was the loving husband of Harriet Ilene (nee Miller), the cherished father of Thomas (Carol) Injeski and Victoria Heideman, and the beloved grandfather of Alexandra and Emma. Bob was the brother of Margie (Hector) Mendoza, Walter (the late Bertha), Raymond (Bobbie), the late Stanley (the late Margaret), the late Helen (the late Robert) Persful, the late John (the late Rose), the late Edward (the late Marie), the late Marian (the late Charles) Scott, the late Bernice (the late Chester) Sprinkle, the late Dorothy (the late Michael) Cahill and the late Mary Injeski. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bob grew up on the South Side of Chicago, attending St. Francis de Sales grade school and Chicago Vocational High School. After he and Ilene married they lived briefly in Calumet City, IL, moved to Milwaukee and then to their home in Greenfield where they lived for over 50 years.
Bob enjoyed baseball and fishing as a child, and continued to fish on family vacations as an adult. In his younger days he played clarinet, saxophone, and flute in Chicago-area bands. At home in Greenfield, he had a large organic garden and was part of a gardening club. Bob had a 50+ year career in Tool and Die and a passion for old machine tools. He was a steam locomotive enthusiast and supporter of the Mid Continent Railway Museum and a member of the Milwaukee Light Engineering Society (MLES).
