Brownell, Robert. Lived and died with dignity, completed his baptismal journey on September 25, 2023 at the age of 94. Soul mate, lover and companion of Jean (nee Clarke) for 63 years. Devoted and compassionate father of Tracey (Bennett Andrew) Elliott, Clarke (JuanCarlos) and Robyn (Jeff) Cowell. Fun loving Papa of Benjamin, Samuel (Vi), James (Sookyee), Joshua (Liz) and Alec (Jen Larson). Also survived by nieces, nephews, many dear relatives and friends.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Gathering on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 3PM to 6PM at ST. STEPHEN THE MARTYR LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6101 S. 51st St., with a Memorial Service to follow at 6PM, the Rev. Char Guiliani and Rev. Brian Hooper officiating.

Robert was a precision tool grinder at Nordberg Manufacturing for 47 years. Upon retiring, he served as a porter with Enterprise for 14 years, and served 26 years as the first custodian for St. Stephen the Martyr Lutheran Church. He was certified Locksmith, and co-owner of the Greasy Glass Pub & Grill.
