Passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Joanne (nee Albrecht). Loving dad of Daniel (Lynne Cobb) Splinter, Terri (Eric) Frank, the late Robbie Splinter and the late Jodi Splinter. Proud grandpa of Derek Splinter, Dalton Splinter, Alison Frank, Lauren VandeVelde, and Macy Frank. Caring brother of Dolores Berns and Diane Splinter. Further survived by brothers and sisters-in-law and other relatives and friends.
Bob was a fisherman who enjoyed everything about the outdoors whether it was snowmobiling or hunting up north in Eagle River with his many neighbors and friends. Bob served his country as a member of the United States Army during the time of the Korean Conflict. Bob retired from Rexnord after 48 years of service. He was an easy-going man who was at the same time hard working with a great sense of humor. Bob loved his sister's Lemon Meringue pies and chocolate chip cookies. He will be deeply missed.
