Blackwood, Robert C., DDS Found peace on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 age 77 years. Son of the late Lillian and James Blackwood. Husband for 44 years of Carolyn (nee Marsh). Loving father of Michael (Christine), Ted (Kristin) and Tim (Sandra). Proud and loving grandpa of Samantha, Robby, Amanda, Hannah, Emma, Adam and Alex. Brother of James (Ruth Ann) and David (Mary Beth). Brother-in-law of Marilyn (R. Vaughn) Schuler. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the Funeral Home SUN FEB. 4th, 12:30-3 PM. A Service of Remembrance will take place at 3 PM. Bob was a Captain in the US Air Force, member of Bay View Kiwanis, past Master Councilor of Bay View Chapter, Order of DeMolay and a graduate of Marquette Dental School. He was a life member, past board member and past Rear Commodore of the South Shore Yacht Club with 67 years continuous membership. He practiced Dentistry in Bay View for 40 years. Bob's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staffs of West Allis Memorial Hospital, Ruth Hospice and to the many friends and relatives who gave assistance and support. If desired memorials may be sent to the South Shore Yacht Club Junior Sailing Foundation. Bob was happiest when he was sailing his beloved "Bobtail", sailing races and fixing wooden boats.
