"Bob"

Saturday, May 11th, 2024 age 64 years. Beloved husband of Diane (nee Schultz) for 43 years. Cherished father of Jennifer (Patrick) Clark and Jodi Bertram (Kevin Sippel). Dear grandpa of Dillon Clark. Treasured brother of Robin (Ingram) Rivas, Brian (Sheryl) Bertram. Dear brother-in-law of Larry (Sharon) Schultz, Phyllis (Blaine) Brauck, Steven (Linda) Schultz, the late Marty Schultz, the late David Schultz, the late Mary Pat Coleman, and the late Eddie Schultz. Loving uncle of Sean (Kris) and Jeancarlos; Meagan (Fiancé Blake); Gina and Kathy, Becky, Heidi, and Leann; Brad and Stephanie; Emily; Tiffany, Simone, and Selena. Great uncle to Lily. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Sybil. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and dear friends.

Bob was a 1977 graduate of Milwaukee Boy's Tech High School. He was also a graduate of Cardinal Stritch University and later served on their board of directors. Bob proudly served his country in the 128th Air Refueling Group (WIANG) from 1978 to 1990 as TSGT - Pharmacy Technician and Disaster Preparedness Team. Afterwards, he served in the United States Naval Reserve from 1990 to 1996. He obtained the rank of Chief Petty Officer and was deployed to Operation Desert Storm as a Corps,man on the USNS Mercy Hospital Ship. Bob spent much of his working career, 24 years as a Sales Manager in the Battery Division at Johnson Controls. He also served as the Emergency Management Director for the City of New Berlin where he coordinated multiple multi-agency mass casualty exercises.

Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed golfing and coordinating the FUGI Annual Golf Outing. A musician his entire life, Bob played the accordion, percussion instruments, and participated in both the Daily Debutantes where he composed music and wrote field shows and was a member of Lakeshore Symphonic. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting with the "guys", trap shooting, and traveling and cruising with his wife, Diane. Most importantly, Bob loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandson Dillon.

Visitation at the Funeral Home Thursday, May 16th, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Funeral Service at 5:30 PM. Inurnment Monday, May 20th, 2024 at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 9:00 AM.

His family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob's name may be made to the Fisher House on the VA grounds.
