Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the age of 97. Loving husband of Ruth (nee Straubhaar) Bauer. Dear father of Bonnie (the late Joe) Tugurian, Garry (Bett), Randy (Debbie), Steve (Barb) and Jennie (Allen) Busse. Cherished grandfather of Rob and Esther Tugurian, Sarah (Jerry) Tugurian Brown, Chad (Stephanie) Bauer and Lauren Bauer, Matt and Jonathan Bauer, Ben (Maggie) Bauer, Jackie (Kyle) Geurink, Andrew and Sophia Busse. Cherished great-grandfather of Tigg Tugurian, Aria, Hailey and Adam Bauer, Ray Jr. "RJ" Bauer, Joe and Jake Bauer and Anna Geurink. Preceded in death by his grandson; Michael Robert Bauer, his brother Alan (Marilyn) Bauer, his in-laws; Ernie (Ellen) Straubhaar and Martha (Heinz) Linke. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bob was a graduate of Washington High School and Spencerian Business College. From there, he met the love of his life Ruth at Milwaukee Turners. They married on July 8, 1950 and together celebrated 73 years of marriage and raised five children. In his later years, Bob was a proud route salesman and retiree of Mrs. Karl's Bakery.

Bob was fun-loving, kind and always had a smile on his face! He was a devoted member of Adoration Lutheran Church, where he was on the church council and helped with their grounds keeping. As an avid sports fan, Bob loved watching the Brewers and Packers while enjoying a Pabst beer and a brat. He liked traveling to Switzerland numerous times to visit Ruth's cousins. His other interests included playing Sheepshead, camping, bowling, polka music, volleyball, delivering Meals-On-Wheels and donating blood.

Visitation SATURDAY, November 18, 2023 at ADORATION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3840 W. Edgerton Ave. Greenfield, from 9:00 A.M-10:30 A.M. Funeral Service 10:30 A.M. Interment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Please meet at the green parking area located just inside the cemetery entrance at 12:00 P.M.
