Balsis, Robert A.

Reunited with his loving parents, Alfred and Alice (nee Tauschmann) and dear brother Thomas (Alice) on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the age of 81 years. Loving husband of Nadeen Balsis (nee Grote) for 55 years. Loving father of Shawn (Brian) Balsis-Budney, Kyle (Bethany) Balsis and Shay (Jeremy) Karls. Proud grandpa of Ethan, Mason, Payton, Addison, Jaxson, Jenna, Camden and Weston.

At the age of 18, Robert enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for 21 years, earning the ranking of MSGT.. He served one tour of duty and was the recipient of several honorable Military awards. He also had a remarkable 38 year career working at General Mitchel Airport in Milwaukee for Delta Airlines.

Robert was also an avid sports fan and loved watching and cheering on his favorite Wisconsin teams.

We will be celebrating his life with one last Garage Beer on Monday, November 4th from 6-8PM at 10630 S. Jessica Drive, Oak Creek, 53154. Memorial Gathering Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 10AM to 11AM in the Chapel at Forest Hill Memorial Park, 3301 E. Forest Hill Ave, Oak Creek. An intimate service will follow, at 11AM, Pastor Karl-John Stone of House of Prayer Lutheran Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert's name can be made to the Special Olympics of Wisconsin.
