Born To Eternal Life on Sunday, October 2, 2011. Age 81 years. Beloved wife of Edward J. Varick. Loving mother of Joseph (Patricia), Robert (the late Pamela) and Bruce Varick. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Chris), Bridgette, Trisha, Sean (Jenny), Ryan, Michael, Michlynn (Monte), Anna (Eric) and Charlie (Stormie). Preceded in death by her brothers Dolfee and Eugene Doellingen. Further survived by 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 3-5 PM at ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH, 3100 W. Parnell Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 5 PM. Rita was a retiree of Marine Bank and was a member of their quarter century club.
