Moran, Rita T. (nee Nowak) Formerly of South Bend, IN. Born into Eternal Life on October 3rd at the age of 81. Beloved wife of John for 59 years. Loving mother of Mark (Kum Son), Brian (Nancy), Maureen (Duane) Jozwiakowski, John Kevin (Paula), Michael (Jane), Colleen, Brendan (Karen) and Julie (Albert) Dozier. Loving grandmother of Stanley, Sean, Joslyn, Charissa, Katie, Jenny, Sarah, Eliza, Emily Grace, Joshua, Henry, Kendra, Cassie, Alexa, Allison, Phoebe and great grandmother of Declan, Josiah and Jezara. Dear sister of Delphine (the late Robert) Mutchler. Further survived by other friends. Visitation will be held Monday October 8th at NATIVITY OF THE LORD CHURCH, 3672 E. Plankinton Ave., Cudahy from 9:00-11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In addition to caring for eight children, Rita was active in her church, including teaching CCD classes and directing the SPREAD Program with her close friend Veleta. Rita was an avid walker and an accomplished runner. Following John's first marathon in 1983, she completed the Lakefront Marathon in 1984 in a little over four hours. She also earned four awards in the Bonnie Bell. She took first place in the Irish Run in Wauwatosa three times. Rita and John also participated in the Crazy Horse Volkesmarch many times. Rita and John camped throughout the U.S., including a trip to New Mexico with their eight children. After retirement, Rita and John enjoyed travels to Europe, including trips to Poland, Ireland, England, Italy and two trips to Hawaii. Memorials to Nativity of the Lord Church or the Susan G. Komen Foundation are appreciated.
