Rita F. Erickson, age 80, of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully with her family on January 4th, 2023. Beloved mother to the late Dana Threlkeld and proud grandmother to Haley and Jason. She was big sister to her beloved brother Mark (Mickey) Rysticken and loving mother-in-law to David Threlkeld. She cherished her friends, whom she spoke of frequently. She taught at Messiah Lutheran Preschool alongside the late Connie Kozlowski (Mrs.K), the late Kathleen Finch, and Dori Volmar, all of whom had a special place in her heart. She loved her Lord and was active in her church community, often helping plan events with the women's group. Rita was kind to all and loved by many. Her kindness and selfless heart will never be forgotten.

The family will be hosting a service at Messiah Lutheran Church 2015 E. Fernwood Ave Milwaukee, WI 53207 Sunday, January 8th, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be at 1pm.
