Obituary

Was Born To Eternal Life on Thursday, April 22, 2005, age 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary. Dick is preceded in death by his sister Virginia Tallar and brother Gilbert Tallar. Loving godfather of Dennis (Mary) Sobotta. Dearest friend of Krista, Ryan and Ross Sobotta. Fond brother-in-law of Anna Oblewski, Helen Rapczyk and Georgia Tallar. Dear uncle of Lynn Emerson, Lois Croly, John and Timothy Tallar, Kathleen Oblewski, Tim and Russell Rapczyk. He is also survived by his friends, Celine and the late Ben Sobotta, other family and friends. "Uncle Dick" will forever be remembered by the entire Sobotta family. Visitation FRI 9-10 AM at ST. CHARLES BORROMEO CHURCH, S. 31st St. & W. Parnell Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Interment and Military Honors at Wood National Cemetery. Dick was a WWII veteran proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army, and a retiree of the Wisconsin Gas Company. A special thank you to the Staff at St. Mary's Manor in South Milwaukee for such a comfortable and caring environment these past five years and Willowcrest Care Center for their tender care in Dick's final days.
