Shannon, Richard D. "Dick" Died peacefully on January 12, 2016. Age 76 years. Beloved husband of Barbara (Remus) for 25 years. Dear father of Scott (Laurie), David (Michele) and Brian Shannon, Jeffrey (Dona) Remus, Jennifer (Joe) Michaels, Master Chief Jonathan (Joy) and Jacob Remus. Loving grandfather of Amber, Cody, Matt, Erin, Collin, Emily, Courtney, John, Aaron, Justin, Caitlin, Brooklyn, and Blake. Further survived by his sister Eileen Smith, his special furry friends Harry and Willie, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Memorial Visitation at the Funeral Home FRIDAY, January 15, 2016 from 10AM-1PM. Funeral Services at 1PM. Richard retired in 1992 from the Milwaukee Police Department after 28 years of service. He was also elected and served as Constable for 19 years in the town of Schleswig where he and Barbara resided. The family would like to thank the 5th floor nurses and doctors of Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, and Sharon Richardson Hospice for all of their care and compassion.
