Richard P. Miller

Born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee Belot). He is also preceded in death by his parents Francis and Alice (nee Dempsey). Loving father of Alice (Michael) Delmore, Nancy (James) Sadowski, James (Catherine) Miller and Mary (William) Kelly. Cherished grandpa of Scott (Kate) Sadowski and Alissa (Brady) Miller; Daniel (Laura) Miller and Sarah Miller (fiancé Taylor Juckem); Lauren Kelly and Erin (Tyler) Waitkus. Dear great-grandpa of Maverick and Jett Sadowski; Stella Miller; Emma and Lily Miller.

Richard proudly served his country for 5 years in the U.S. Navy. He worked as an electrician for MPS for 32 years before retiring in 1990. Richard enjoyed golfing, reading, playing cards and his yearly trips to Las Vegas. Most of all Richard loved visiting with and hearing of the lives of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for 67 years and belonged to the Holy Name Society.

Visitation Monday, August 14, 2023 from 9:30 AM - 11 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, S. 41st St. and W. Oklahoma Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Entombment and military honors to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

His family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care Richard received from the team at ProMedica / Heartland Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Blessed Sacrament Church or ProMedica / Heartland Hospice.
