Richard D. Meier (Dick), 86, of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on November 13th after a very long and courageous battle with a string of illnesses. Dick grew up in Cudahy, WI, graduating from Cudahy High School in 1953. He was drafted into the United States army in 1957 and served overseas in Europe until being honorably discharged in 1959. He worked for Ladish, Inc. in Cudahy for 41 years. He was a very caring family man, who after raising his own children, took special delight in his grandchildren in his later years. Dick is survived by his wife of 52 years, Geri (Rawski), his children Diane, Ronald (Monica), Steven (Lois), and Michael (Melissa), and his grandchildren Samantha (Taylor), Zachary (Shannon), Grace, Julie, and Ryan. The family would like to give great thanks to the staff of Seasons Inpatient Hospice for their wonderful care in his last days along with all of the doctors that assisted the family throughout this journey.
