Richard R. Haske "Dick"

The curtains closed on an extraordinary life, Saturday, January 13, 2024, age 89 years. Beloved husband for 64 years to Joan (nee Mulqueen). Loving father of Richard II (Karolina) Haske, Kathryn (David) Schires, Maureen (Andrew Hitchcock) Haske and Carin Belan. Proud grandfather of Meagan (Josh) Lecus, Nicholas (Jessica) Schires, Alexandra (Braxton Davis) Schires, Briana (Kenneth) Poole, Madeleine (Tyler Leiskau) Schires, Hope Belan and Miles Belan. Dear great-grandfather of Jaxon, Ava, Hunter, Saul, Jonah, Nolan, Carter and Elliott. Preceded in death by his father, William Haske and parents, Joseph and Catherine Farkas; siblings, Kathleen Fitzpatrick and William Jr. (Carolyn) Haske. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family, friends and his devoted fur baby, Molly.

Dick will be remembered for his 30 plus years of dedication, creativity and mentorship as Technical Director and Stage Manager for Cudahy High School, he was a proud member of IATSE-Local 18, served as Propmaster for the Milwaukee Ballet and Florentine Opera and was a Lighting Director and Property Master with Summerfest at the Leinenkugel Stage. He also served on various city committees,including the Cudahy Historical Society for his beloved hometown of Cudahy.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday, February 1, 2024, 5:00-7:00 PM. Additional visitation on Friday, 10-11:00 AM at Nativity of the Lord Parish, 3673 E. Plankinton Avenue, Cudahy, Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Private inurnment Arlington Park Cemetery. A heartfelt thank you to Dick's care team with Aurora At Home Hospice.
