Richard Eugene Gales, 80, of Milwaukee, WI, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Friday, July 19th after a long battle with COPD. Richard was born on April 3, 1944 to Thomas W and Marjorie (Arndt) Gales in Milwaukee, WI. In 1967, Richard met his wife, Donna (Koprowski). They fell in love, and were married two years later in Milwaukee. Richard and Donna went on to have two boys, Peter and Joel. He was preceded in death by his father and mother and brothers Terry and Tom and his in-laws, William and Dorthy Koprowski.

He is survived by his sister Candy (Dick) Reibe and family, his brother in law Ken Janowski, his son Peter (Amy) with their sons Devon (Tracey) and Dylan (Makenzie), his son Joel (Stephanie) with their son Zachary, and Richard's granddaughter McKinzie Gales.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Visitation Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at The Church of Immaculate Conception (1023 East Russell Avenue, Milwaukee, WI) with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 2:00pm.
