Passed peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, age 91 years. Beloved husband for 71 years to Mary (nee D'Amato). Loving dad of Robert (Nancy) Formankiewicz, Ann (John) Adamski and the late Ricky Formankiewicz. Grandfather and best friend of Angelica. Grandpa of Scott and Sara. Also survived by 2great-grandchildren, other family and friends.

Richard was a retiree of the Eaton Corporation after 45 years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, playing the occasional bingo game and traveling up-north.

Visitation on Friday, May 8, 2026, 10:30am-11:15 am at St. John the Evangelist, 8500 W. Cold Spring Road. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
