We are saddened to share the passing of Rhody, who left us peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 89, following a courageous battle with vascular dementia.

Rhody was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was born on June 28, 1935, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. A dedicated metallurgical machinist, he worked at Ladish for 46¼ years, where he inspired generations of young coworkers with his expertise and strong work ethic.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Michele "Mickey"; his children Doreen (Daniel) and Kristen (Kurt); and his five grandchildren: Elle, Isabella, Benjamin, Annalise, and Christopher. He is also survived by his sister Arlene and brothers Hop (Pat) and Gary.

Rhody was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Esther, his brothers Dick (Irene) and Mel, and his brother-in-law Jack.

Rhody was known for speaking with honesty and warmth, his kind spirit, and his unwavering dedication to his family and Catholic faith. He found joy in life's simple pleasures-hunting, fishing, cooking, and working with his hands-and was always happiest when staying active and productive. Though he had a strong and capable presence, he also had a tender heart, especially when it came to animals. He had a lifelong soft spot for dogs, treating them with the same care and affection he gave to those he loved.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at St. James Catholic Church, W220N6588 Town Line Road, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.

Rhody will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
