Interment Arlington Park Cemetery. Reverend Griffis served as Minister of Education for churches in Greenville, SC, Dayton OH, Baltimore, MD and Winchester, KY. He also served in Evangelism and Church Development roles for the Greater Dayton Assn. of Baptists, Baptist General Convention of New England, Chicago Metro Baptist Assn. and Colorado Baptist General Convention.
