Born to eternal life on Monday, August 28, 2017, age 78 years. Loving son of the late Rose M. (nee King) and the late Charles W. Wheatley. Beloved brother of Bill (Deb Obst), Pat Goglio (Robert Zess) Tom (Nancy) Wheatley and the late Robert Wheatley. Brother-in-law of Clara (Ray Block) Wheatley and the late Ken Goglio. Dear friend of Andy Kukec. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and brother priests. Rev. Charles Wheatley was ordained on May 18, 1968 in Milwaukee. His first assignment was with Immaculate Heart of Mary in West Allis, he also served many other parishes throughout the Archdioceses of Milwaukee and became the first chaplain of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Catholic Cemeteries. After his retirement Fr. Charles moved to the Orlando, FL area and in retirement assisted the Archdiocese of Orlando. The family wishes to thank the staff and caregivers of Cornerstone Assisted Living in Oak Creek, for the loving care given to Fr. Charles.
