Simpson, Reginald Doddrick Passed away unexpectedly on Dec 25, 2009, age 73. Loving husband of Marilyn Simpson, devoted father of Lisa Simpson and step-father of Dr. Lisa Mahnke (Dr. Kyle Nelson). Brother of Roberta Shaw. Brother-in-law to Sally Toman, Jackie (Al) Zalim, Peggy (Mike) Kukla and Gerri Grunwald. Further survived by many loving family members and Kirio Simpson. Reg was a talented singer, active with the Wilsonaires and Whitnall Park Luthern Church (council member). A local "Singing Machine" entertainer, he was also known for his Elvis impersonation. He was born in Pennsylvania, raised on the east coast and lived in Minnesota. A graduate of Marquette University, Reg served honorably in the U.S. Army and was an export manager for over 30 years at Meehan Seaway in Milwaukee. A serious Packers fan, avid golfer and terrific movie buff, he adored his dog Lucy. Reg was gentle and kind and will be greatly missed. Visitation WEDNESDAY, December 30, 2009 from 4-7 PM at WHITNALL PARK LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5847 S. Lilac Ln., Hales Corners, WI 53130. Funeral Services at 7 PM. Additional visitation Thursday 9:30 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Private interment Forest Hill Memorial Park in Oak Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
