Cherished father of the late Keith (Joanne), Cheryl (Glen) Swift, Debra (Michael) Ziems, Pamela (Robert) Steffens. Treasured grandfather of Michelle (Mike) Grau, Andrew Owsiany, Stacy (Scott) Muehlemann, Megan Swift, Katie (Steve) Hoffman, Matt Ziems, Rachel and Erica Steffens. Loving great-grandfather of Ashley, Abbey, Adam, Samantha, Leah, Nathan, A.J. and Ryan. Dear brother of Richard (Christine) Owsiany. Preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses, Frank (Clara), Edward Owsiany and Mary (Eugene) Malecki. Dear brother-in-law of Laurence (Irene) and Jerome (Carol) St. Martin. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Ray was a retired police sergeant who served the city of Milwaukee for 36 years. He was a World War II veteran proudly serving his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS LST 965. He was a member of American Legion Police Post #415 and past president of the St. Jude League. Ray was a kind, selfless and accepting man, who truly devoted his life to his entire family.
