Meeting in heaven, beloved spouse Toshiko, dearly missed daughter Donna Guzikowski, sister Janet Ryan and parents Edward and Evelyn.
Ralph was a graduate of Milwaukee Boy's Tech and later joined the US Army becoming a sergeant and was honorably discharged. He worked at F. Dohmen Co., but years later started his own pharmaceutical distribution company, REP-GO, Inc.. He cunningly involved all six children in the business. Starting them young, he taught them many skills, including the nuances of being entrepreneurs, which they have proudly used throughout their lives.
Throughout his life, he immersed himself in learning the Japanese language, culture as well as the cuisine of his spouse's native country. He built many life-long connections with family abroad. It wasn't unusual to have an impromptu wok party on the patio with visiting Japanese guests they may have just met.
He was a dedicated genealogist and family historian, spending his time researching the family lineage, making connections and archiving for future generations to cherish.
He also took an interest in opera, following Toshiko, who was a costume designer for many years for The Skylight and Florentine Opera. One of his proudest moments was watching Susie design and sew all the costumes for the Mikado. He enjoyed many friendships, celebrations and fun times with the cast and crew of these performances.
Ralph was a devoted member of St. Augustine's Hippo church and was a member of Holy Name, an usher and also ran the parish fish fries for many years. He was also actively involved in The Boy Scouts of America as a leader and board member.
