Peacefully entered Eternal Life at the age of 90 on September 4, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was cherished by his wife of more than 64 years Ann (nee Krygoski), their six children, Paul (Deb), Philip (Tess), Judith (Tom) Anibas, the late Joseph (Nichol), Kevin (Shelley), and Mary (Patrick) Duffy, and ten grandchildren: Sara (Tyler), Jacci, Nicholas, Sam, the late Tommy, Nathan, Matthew (Chelsea), Ann, Sarah, and Molly. He will also be missed by his brothers Donald and Leonard, and sisters Rita (Jack) Kovach, Audrey (Ollie) McClure, and sister-in-law Susan Krygoski.
Ralph was born December 9, 1926 in Milwaukee and raised on the family farm in Wallace, MI. In 1948 he returned to Milwaukee and was a dedicated employee of Allis Chalmers for 35 years. Ralph served the US Army honorably in Korea between 1950 and 1952. On May 9, 1953, he married Ann in Menominee, MI and together would raise their family.
He enjoyed the joys of his family and friends in Milwaukee, Upper Michigan, and Brooksville, FL, countless memories including hunting, fishing, and spending time outside. Ralph was a lifelong learner: he crafted his skills in baking, cooking, and is fondly remembered for the power of his green thumb. He cherished the winters spent in the warm Florida sun with Ann, making new friends and having the opportunity to explore new hobbies. A devoted Catholic and American, he will be remembered for his gentle strength, the twinkle in his eye, and kind spirit.
