Ralph was a retiree of the Journal/Sentinel after 42 years of service and proudly served his country in the Army/Air Force during World War 2. He was a member of the SDHS Old Timers, the Sixty-Plus Senior Men's Softball Club, VFW Post 2304, CWA Local 14549 and a multi- medal winner in the Senior Olympics.
