(nee Elmer) Died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, age 68 years. Beloved wife for 48 years of Sam Bird. Loving mother of Victor (Deborah), Patrick (Christina) and Marva Bird. Dearest grandma of Meghan, Abigail, Mary, Phillip, Jessica, Amanda, Jacob and Sam. Also survived by a brother, 3 sisters, other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home MON 4-7 PM and TUE 9:30-10 AM. Funeral Service at 10 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Phyllis was a employee of Milwaukee Public Schools and a retiree of Greenfield Public Schools. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association.
