Age 70, passed away on October 6, 2021. He is survived by his loving family, wife Deborra (nee Neal), son Benjamin Huyck (partner Victoria), and daughter Sarah Huyck. Preceded in death by his parents Marie (Graskamp) and Eugene Huyck. Also survived by his sister Karen (Ellis) Julien, brother Kent (Susan) Huyck, brother-in-law Jon (Ann) Neal, nieces, nephews, a cousin and many friends. Perry served as Executive Director of United Methodist Children's Services in the Washington Park neighborhood for many years. He was an advocate for the underserved, was unfailing in his support of families in need, and went about his work with a steadfast faithfulness and a selfless heart. After retirement he continued to volunteer for any project needed. Most importantly he was the best husband and father one could hope for. He loved his family unconditionally and instilled in them a responsibility to make a difference in the lives of others. Perry walked quietly through this life, leaving seeds of love, hope, courage, and faith for all those whose lives he touched. He was an avid gardener, finding solace among his iris, shrubs and vegetables. Perry enjoyed cooking, woodworking, dogs, and especially loved children. A committal service will be held at Oostburg Cemetery, Smies Rd. and Sauk Trail Rd., Oostburg WI on Tuesday October 26, 2021, at 2:00 PM, Pastor Kelly Fowler officiating. Please meet directly at the cemetery. A time of gathering will be hosted by Perry's family on Wednesday October 27, 2021, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM in The Healing Chapel in The Woods, at Conservancy for Healing and Heritage, 7410 W. Rawson Ave. Franklin WI. A prayer service will be offered at 6:00 PM. Masks are required for the safety of all. Thank you to the staff at Froedtert Hospital, Horizon Home Hospice and Lawlis Family Hospice for their care of Perry in these last weeks. A special thanks to Dr. A.
