(nee Schaffer) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the age of 77. Beloved Wife of 53 years to Phil Beyer. Cherished Mom Christopher Beyer, Heather (Jason) Henn and Jessica (Kyle) Krueger. Proud Oma of Adler, Coen and Adelaide Henn and Josie Beyer. Fond sister of Jay (Nancy) Schaffer and the late Todd Schaffer. Aunt of Jennifer Schaffer and Stacy Schaffer-Helmer. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Penny was a life long knitter. There are countless pieces that she made and gave to all her family and friends over the years that will always be cherished. She was an avid gardener and had a wonderful green thumb and came to be known as a "plant medic" and revived many flowers and plants that seemed to be on their way out but were quickly revived to health. Penny was an enthusiastic participant at Peace Tree Yoga for the last 4 years. Her toy poodle Teddy gave her much joy these last 3 years. Penny took many adventures on the road with her husband Phil. From motorcycle trips to RV excursions they saw 44 States and 4 Canadian Provinces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Penny's memory to Zilber Family Hospice are appreciated.

A celebration of Penny's life will take place at a later date.
