(nee Husty) of Pewaukee passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the age of 72. She was the beloved wife of Dr. David Erickson, dear mother of Brea and Dana Erickson and sister of Richard (Charmin) Husty. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Elmer and Grace Husty. Paula was also a cherished godmother, aunt and cousin to Donna Lee. She adored her dogs Frankie and Bernie. Born in Bay View to a warm Italian community of family and friends, Paula was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where she earned her teaching degree as well as the coveted award for "best-dressed" coed. Over the decades, she was the life of the party amongst her loyal group of friends. With a one-of-a-kind personality, she was smart, beautiful, strong-willed and had a unique sense of humor. She loved to travel with her family, garden, golf, ski, master crossword puzzles and share a glass of wine with friends. She was a lifelong Packers fan, attending both The Ice Bowl and Super Bowl XXXI. Paula bravely fought cancer twice with courage and grace. The world lost a wonderful person and heaven gained a new superstar. Visitation THURSDAY, October 15, 2015 from 4:00-6:00PM at THREE HOLY WOMEN PARISH - ST. HEDWIG CHURCH 1702 N Humboldt Ave. Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM. Private entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
