Fri., Nov. 30, 2007 age 71 years. He was born on March 1, 1936 in Massachusetts and raised in Connecticut. He served in the U.S. Navy for 2 years. A fine husband for 51 years to Jean L. (nee Onstad) and father of David (Theresa), Dennis (Dawn), Dale, Kent (Nancy), Paula (Ross) Wenthur, Karl and Kevin (Sharon). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 2 sisters, a brother, and other family and friends. His leadership and participation made for a very active life with his children that included Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Red Cat baseball, football and basketball. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially on camping trips. His career with the St. Francis School System spanned 38 ½ years, beginning at Thompson School (now Thompson Meadows senior living apts.) Through the years he advanced from janitor to supervising buildings and grounds of St. Francis Schools. A very fulfilling career he oversaw the building of the high school on Lake Drive., witnessed the destruction fire at Willow Glen and rebuilding of that school. After the demolition of Faircrest grade school, the district purchased the St. John's School complex on Kinnickinnic Ave and with his guidance helped establish Deer Creek Elementary School. The years took their toll keeping Paul has been home bound in recent years. His family would like to thank the special nursing staff from Horizon Home Care. Paul now rests in the Arms of the Lord.
