Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, July 15, 2016 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis. Cherished father of Barbara (Randy) Maller, David (Dorian) Hintz and Diane Hintz. Treasured grandfather of Mark, Melissa (fianc Chris), David, Ryan (Amy), Eric (Samantha), Kayla (Melissa) and Cassie (fianc Sergio). Dear great-grandfather of Kirstin, Drew, Colton, Gage, Clara, Jullian, Kaitlyn, Christopher and Reagan. Dear brother of Marjorie (the late William) Hansen. Paul proudly served his country during the Korean War in the US Army as a teletype equipment mechanic. After his service he was the co-owner of Hintz Food Store on Delaware Ave. in Bay View. Afterwards he embarked on a successful real estate career with Shorewest Realtors. Paul was a longtime member of Lutheran Chapel of the Cross and the former Bay View Business Association.
