Born to eternal life on Sunday, September 20, 2020, age 75 years. Beloved husband for 55 years to Janet (nee Fecteau). Loving father of Glen (Becky) Gauerke and LeeAnn (Michael) Zais. Proud grandpa of Natasha and Teagan Gauerke and Emma Zais. Dear brother of John (Sue) Gauerke. Brother-in-law of Suzette (Robert) Koceja. Fond uncle of Steve, Kevin, Heather and the late Dana. Also survived by other beloved family members and friends. Paul was an avid golfer, and member of the Senior League at Oakwood Golf Course. He remained physically active, while playing with his grandchildren and taking walks and going to parks with his wife, Janet. Paul enjoyed and took great pride in house maintenance, especially gardening with his wife. Paul was a retired plumber with Grunau Co. after 35 plus years and always offered his expertise to those in need of advice. He was a very active volunteer at his church, his children's schools and most recently at Robinwood Elementary in Franklin. Visitation on Friday, October 2, 2020, 9:30-11 AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1441 W. Oakwood Rd., Oak Creek. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
