Obituary

Paul C. Eckert, formerly of South Milwaukee, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was a resident of the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin.

Paul was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from High School before joining the U.S. Airforce. His 20 year Air Force Career included service as USAF Band Instrumentalist as well as a Missile Facilities Technician and Barack Manager at Minot AFB in Minot, ND.

After his Air Force Retirement, Paul worked at Broadway Baby Dining/Theater and Walmart. He was also a member of American Legion Post No. 27 in South Milwaukee, WI.

Paul's hobbies and interests included: A love of trains, ceramics, remote control cars, photography and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was an avid baker and loved to cook and bake for gatherings.

Paul's immediate family includes: His daughters Amber (Christopher) Krajewski, Stacey (Michael) Azar; his grandson Lucas Krajewski and granddaughter Emlly Krajewski. He was a dear friend of Phyllis and Papa Pete Lewis. Paul's surviving siblings include Francis (Dixie), Theresa (David Novak), John (Mary Jo), Mary, Cora and Andrea (Robert) Warder. Brother-in-law of Diane Eckert. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Paul was preceded by his parents, August and Arlene (nee Rollin) Eckert; his brother Eugene (June) and James and brother-in-law John Dolan.

Paul's family has planned a Memorial Visitation on Friday, March 7, 2025, 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3100 S. Parnell Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Military Honors to follow.
