Was born to eternal life while surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 24, 2010, age 85 years. Orville is survived by the love of his life and beloved wife of 62 years, Marion (nee Wiesner). Loving Daddy of Stephanie (Bruce) Bogust, Ronald (Sue), Mary (Michael) Watters, Jerry (Tammy), Christopher (Diane), Joel (Jean), Carolynne (Kevin) Fugate, Thomas (Terri) and Ann (Gregory) Rasmusson. Cherished grandpa of Erik and Brian; Scott and Kristin; Geralyn, Karin and Christian; Michael, Andrew, Adam, Stephani and Gregory; Sharon, the late Kristie and Sarah; Jennifer, Jonathan, Jessica and Julianne; Matt and Carrie; Ami, Nicholas, Amanda and Benjamin; Joseph and Jacob. Also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, loving in-laws, other family and many friends.
Orville was a Master Plumber, lifetime member of Plumbers Local 75, a former project administrator for the Medical College of Wisconsin, a U.S Army veteran during World War II in the 28th Infantry. He was also a life member and Past Commodore of the South Shore Yacht Club. Orville enjoyed boat building, sailing, woodworking, traveling and most of all spending time with his family. On November 6 of this year Orville, along with other fellow veterans was honored to take the Stars and Stripes Flight to Washington DC. A sincere thank you to Drs. Lamb and Bylow, the staff at Froedtert Hospital and Julie with Horizon Hospice, for the loving and compassionate care given to Orville.
Visitation on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, 3:00-6:30 PM at ST. VERONICA CHURCH, 4001 So. Whitnall Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 PM. Private interment and military honors at Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Veronica Church.
