After his many sports achievements as a young athlete in the small town of Spencer, WI, Orrin was drafted into WWII. He was a combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient quietly proud of his military service. Post WWII, Orrin spent 40 years working as a clerk for the U.S. Post Office until he retired. He was an avid stamp collector and sports fanatic who was always there for his family. His warm, friendly personality made others aspire to be better.
