Obituary

Found peace with the Lord on Monday, February 16, 2004, age 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Mae (nee Keto). Cherished father of Diane (Kent) LaVelle and Douglas (Gail) Germanson. Dear brother-in-law of Fanny Schneeweis and Violet (Oiva) Maki. Also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends. Visitation WED 4-5:45 PM at OUR FATHER EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6025 So. 27th St. Funeral Service at 6 PM. Private entombment Wisconsin Memorial Park. Obert was a retiree of the Allen-Bradley Co. after 43 years of service retiring in 1979, with his friend and co-worker, Tony Werth, co-founded the Allen-Bradley Orchestra and Chorus, Obert was a lifetime member of Milwaukee Musicians Local No. 8 and member and leader of Obie and the Crusaders for 28 years. If desired, memorials appreciated to Our Father Ev. Lutheran Church or School.
