76 years of age was born on February 28th, 1943 in Barrio Pea Pobre of Naguabo, Puerto Rico and began the journey of eternal life on Friday, March 15th, 2019 surrounded by his family. He married the love of his life, Antonia Dueo Santana on November 25th, 1961. Although retirement due to an injury while part of Puerto Ricos police department for one decade, his passion of serving others was not diminished due to his injury. Instead Obed relocated his family to the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1979, and in 1980 he founded the church he labored for and loved for over four decades, Puerta de Sion Church, Maranatha Christian Church and today Rhema Church. During his span as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he founded churches in Mexico, and served as Secretary of Maranatha Worldwide MiAnistries for over a decade. He was preceded in death by his parents Julio Pea & Isabel Lpez and son Anthony Pea and granddaughter Gabrielle Antoniette Hidalgo. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Antonia Pea; his children Edwin Obed Pea, Ivelisse (Esau) Rodriguez, Milagros (Ilder) Hidalgo, and Obed (Rose) Pea; his grandchildren Joshua, Edwin Obed Jr., Elliot, Stephanie, Christian, Hector Obed, Zurisadai, Krystle, Grace, Zurymar, Adrianna, Anthony Obed, Gabriel Obed, Daniel Obed, and Isabella Rose; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of many other relatives. Obed Pea Sr. will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, friend, shepherd, and servant of God. Se cas con el amor de su vida, Antonia Dueo Santana el 25 de Noviembre del 1961. Debido a un accidente se retir del departamento de polica de Puerto Rico despus de ms una dcada de trabajo, pero su pasin de servir a otros no disminuyo. En el 1979 Obed se traslad con su familia a la ciudad de Milwaukee, Wisconsin, y en el 1980 fundo la iglesia cual amo y pastoreo por casi cuatro dcadas, Iglesia Puerta de Sion, Iglesia Cristiana Maranatha y hoy Iglesia Rhema. Durante sus aos de ser ministro del evangelio de Jesucristo, fue fundador de iglesias en Mxico, y sirvi como Secretario del Ministerio Mundial Maranta por sobre una dcada. Fue precedido a la vida eterna por sus padres Julio Pea y Isabel Lpez y su hijo Anthony Pea y su nieta Gabrielle Antoniette Hidalgo. Le sobrevive su amada esposa de 57 aos de casados, Antonia Pea, sus hijos e hijas: Edwin Obed Pea, Ivelisse (Esau) Rodriguez, Milagros (Ilder) Hidalgo, y Obed (Rose) Pea; sus nietos Joshua, Edwin Obed Jr., Elliot, Stephanie, Christian, Hector Obed, Zurisadai, Krystle, Grace, Zurymar, Adrianna, Anthony Obed, Gabriel Obed, Daniel Obed e Isabela Rose; 12 bisnietos y muchos familiares.
