They eventual broke ground on the adjacent lot and built the clinic where it exists today. He worked tirelessly to build his business, often being on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide for his family. He was an asset to the Oak Creek and Veterinary community for close to 50 years. Norman was a member of the Oak Creek Jaycees, Ducks Unlimited, and the AVMA. He played softball, golfed, bowled, hunted and fished. He also sponsored and coached his twin's Little league team. Norman volunteered at the Wisconsin State Fair for many years doing spays and neuters for demonstration for the Wisconsin Humane Society. Norman loved the outdoors, animals and most of all, his children and grandchildren. Norman enjoyed Packer and Wisconsin Badger games, ski vacations and trips to the Rose bowl and the Masters tournaments. He also loved returning to his birth place with his sons to hunt every year. He had a second home in Arizona where he escaped Wisconsin winters and enjoyed more golf and watching football. Norman will always be remembered for his firey spirit. "Stormin' Norm as he was sometimes called had a strong work ethic. He loved his clients, their animals and his family.
