Died peacefully on Wed., Dec. 5, 2007. Age 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine. Loving father of Daniel West (Susan) Gabrielsen and Penny (Tom) Gabrielsen-Cullen. Cherished grandfather of Nathan (Lisa) Studer, Leif (Crystal) Gabrielsen, Rebecca (Jimmy) Alston, Erica Brabant and Cody Gabrielsen. Dear great-grandfather of Arilyn and Ciarra Gabrielsen and Marlee Jane Alston. Dear brother of Harold (Mary), Reidar (Marilyn) Gabrielsen and Barbara (The late Erman) Clough. Preceded in death by siblings, Carrol, Gloria and Liala. Also survived by other family and friends. Visitation MON. Dec. 10, 2007 4-5:30 P.M. at ASCENSION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1236 S. Layton Blvd. Funeral Services at 5:30 with a celebration of Norm's life to follow. Private interment Forest Home Cemetery. Norm was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII assigned with the Armed Guard protecting merchant ships. He proudly lived in a Frank Lloyd Wright home on W.
