(nee Voges) Joined the Heavenly choir on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Jerome "Jerry" Schneider. Loving mother of Paul (Vickie), Dale (Kris), Jan (Dave) Schultz, Ellie (Joe) Lehmann, Bob; also her late daughters-Christine Schneider and Chris' twin baby sister who passed away soon after birth. Loving and proud grandmother of Angeline (Jason) Sadowski, Jerome, Rachel (Dave) Misko, Amber Neuenfeldt, James (Kelly), Katy (Dan) Anheuser, Sara (Nick) Wahlers, Caryn (Ed) Bremberger, Kristen (Tim) Geyer, Andrew (Kati) Lehmann, Oliver, Sonny and the late Clair Schneider. Treasured Great-grandmother, aka "GiGi" of Ella, Elyse, Alyvia, Paislee; Rory, Alice, Hannah, Sophie; Scarlett, Tanner, Ezekiel, Eli, Estelle, Edison, Lacey, Noah and Jace. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. Preceded in death by: her beloved father Reverend Theophil Voges and mother Marie (nee Winkler) Voges Strassman Weidner; her loving siblings: brother Robert (Ria) Voges, Marian (George) Mech and Evelyn (Kenneth) Kent Elston.

Daughter of Reverend Theophil Voges and Lutheran grade school teacher Marie, Norma was raised with strong faith and devotion. She graduated from Lutheran High School Milwaukee where she made lifelong friends. Shortly thereafter, Norma met the love of her life Jerry at Bob and Ev Schneider's wedding. They married in 1951 and were blessed with six children. A devoted mother, Norma took great pride in her kids and never missed an event.

For over 50 years, Norma has been a member of St. Lucas Ev. Lutheran Church. There she enjoyed singing with the Ladies' Choir, became a Stephen Minister and made many lifelong dear friends. Norma was also proud to be an entrepreneur, owning DriveAway Service in Milwaukee-a vehicle relocation service. Through out the years, Norma also enjoyed writing poetry, creating ceramics, fishing, bowling and cards with her card club friends.

The family would like to thank Pastor Unnasch, for making so many trips across town to visit Mom and share the comfort of God's Word. They also would like to extend their gratitude to the tremendous staff at Franciscan Place (Brookfield) who loved and helped care for her.

A poem written by Norma:

When our dear Lord calls loved ones home

To His heavenly throne above

When He no longer lets them roam

Among the ones they loved,

We think He's cruel, we can't see why

He wouldn't let them stay

Can't understand the reason why

He sees fit to take them 'way.

But God knows best, His ways are just

Though hard to understand

Someday, we too, will turn to dust

And reach that Promised Land

And then & only then will we

Begin to understand

That death is only an earthly key

To the Christians' Promised Land
