Nancy Margaret Kresse

(née Wilson), 81, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on May 6, 2026. She was born on July 28, 1944, to George and Eleanor Wilson.

Nancy lived a life defined by her curiosity, intelligence and adventurous spirit. She loved to travel and embraced the world with openness and enthusiasm, journeying throughout Europe and living and working in both New Zealand and India. Wherever she went, she carried with her a love of beauty, culture, and connection.

She found joy in her family and friends, as well as the arts, music, books and gardens. Nancy was also a fan of the television series M.A.S.H., whose humor and humanity reflected much of what she valued in life.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Eleanor Wilson and by her brother, James Wilson.

She is survived by her loving sons, Nathan (Jennifer) and Ryan (Sarita), and by her cherished grandchildren Etta, Oscar, Andrew and Madeline.

She is also survived by her beloved sister Mary Jane Stamm (Fred), her brother Mark Wilson (Phyllis McGibbon), her nephew, David Stamm (Lisa), her niece Shelly Conrad (John), five great-nephews; as well as other relatives and many dear friends.

Per Nancy's request, there will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend time in your favorite place outdoors with the people you love most of all in the world - a remembrance that would have meant a great deal to Nancy.
