Found peace on February 8, 2023, age 71 years. Beloved wife for 28 years to John Castro. Dear step-mother of Elizabeth (fiance-Alex Ferrari) and Johnny Castro. Dear grandma of Cianna, Emerald, Savanah and Neveah. Proud great-grandma of Pricilla and Naveah. Cherished sister of Late Edward (Janny) Lukawski, Kathryn (Mark) Nagdeman, Barbara (Norbert) Lyon, Joseph (Late Vicki) Lukawski, Mary (Kim) Kessler and JoEllen (Dennis) Grabelle. Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Helen Lukawski. Further survived and loved by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Nancy graduated from Bishop Noll Institute in 1969, Colorado State University 1973 with a Bachelors degree in Dietetics and Nutrition. She was a retired City of Milwaukee WIC Director, was honored by the Mayor of the City of Milwaukee and was active in missions abroad. Nancy loved to sew, knit, crochet, bake and cook, exercise, go biking, skiing, traveling and spending time with her family, especially all her nieces and nephews!
