Burrus, Myrtle E. age 99, of Port Washington, WI formerly of Milwaukee, WI and Newberry, MI passed on Thursday, October 4, 2012. Myrtle was born in Minneapolis, MN before moving to Michigan with her parents, Hanna and Gustave Hedberg. She worked as a medical technologist for some 43 years for the State of Michigan and was a member of Faith Santa Fe Lutheran Church in Milwaukee during her later years. Myrtle was a loving mother to her daughter Bette Jo Lincoln of Milwaukee, WI; treasured grandmother of Kristin Lynn (John) Bohm of Port Washington, WI and Brian Arthur (Susan) Jennings of Cudahy, WI; dear great-grandmother of Patricia, Tiffany, Jaela Marie, Mikayla, Zachary, and Hayden. She is predeceased by her parents Gustave and Hanna Hedberg and sister, Caroline Hazeldine Hedberg. Memorial Visitation Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 10AM 12 Noon at FAITH SANTA FE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1000 S. Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
