Obituary

Went home to her sagrado corazón de Jesús on April 26 2023 at the age of 80. Wife of Luis Barreto. Loved mother of Luz Minerva Aguilera (Pedro Aguilera), Nadia Enid Barreto-Najarro (Bern Najarro), Evelyn Polster (Dean Polster), Lucy Barreto (Lloyd Moczyski). Proud grandmother of Anahi Aguilera, Jovani Aguilera, La Nena, Kat Polster, Jacob Polster, Alicia Barreto, Dillion Delcore, Nathaniel Delcore. Caring sister to Jimmy, Lucy, Auralina, the late Sonja Maida, Randy, Wilson, Clisete Rivera. Further survived by many other nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Minerva set the example of how we should all approach and treat every precious day. She was a strong woman of faith and compassionate to all. She welcomed each day knowing she was in God's hands. She placed every one's needs before her own, while showing the humility of God's love for all.

Visitation MONDAY, May 1 2023 from 12:30 P.M.-2:00 P.M at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 605 S. 4th St. Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53204. Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Good Hope Cemetery.
