In loving memory of Miguel Orlando Miranda, who peacefully entered eternal rest on May 24, 2025, at the age of 74. Orlando was a devoted husband to Elsa Miranda for 48 years; father to Miguel Orlando Miranda, Jr., Luis Miranda, Medelis Miranda, Marilyn Miranda, Jennifer Miranda and Cristian Miranda; and doting grandfather to 14 grandchildren who cherished him. Orlando leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and service.

Early Life and Family Commitment:

Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico in 1950, Orlando demonstrated a heart of compassion and responsibility from a young age. Born premature, doctors did not think he would survive. As a teenager, he selflessly stepped alongside his father to aid in providing for his home and eight younger siblings, sacrificing his own education to help ensure their well-being. This early act of love and duty laid the foundation for a life characterized by unwavering commitment to family and faith.

Marriage and Family Life:

In 1976, Orlando married the love of his life, Elsa Miranda. Together, they built a home filled with love, faith, and laughter. Miguel cherished his role as a father, not only to his biological children but also to the many foster children who found solace and care in his home. He believed that every child deserves love and a safe place to grow, and he opened his heart and home to those in need.

Faith and Service:

Orlando was a man of fervent Christian faith. He was an active member of Jesus Pan De Vida, where he served as a Deacon and Spirit Lead Counselor. His life was a testament to the teachings of Christ, and he often shared his testimony, emphasizing the importance of faithfulness, trust in God and putting family first. Even as his physical health declined, Orlando remained steadfast in his faith, never allowing his challenges to hinder his service to others.

To honor Orlando's Life and Faith there will be a Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A Funeral Service will be held starting at 12:30 PM.
