Born on February 24, 1961 in Tomahawk, WI to Flora (nee Poupart) and Donovan LaBelle. She unexpectedly entered into eternal life on May 1, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Michele grew up in Lac du Flambeau, WI; she attended Lakeland Union High School and graduated in 1979, and has resided in Milwaukee since 1985. She has worked for the City of Milwaukee for 23 years and was the first woman tractor operator. She was an avid Packer fan who loved Lemon drops on game day. She loved to cook, she loved to dance, and she would do anything for anyone. She loved to laugh and tell stories, but would quickly put you in your place if you crossed the line. She was very strong, loving and tough. Michele is survived by her mother Flora; her daughters, Melanie (Ray), Lindy, Alyse, Jenna (James) and her siblings, Donna Stackowicz, Desmond (Nancy) LaBelle, Marc LaBelle and Kimberly (Dirk) Milek. "Nonnie" to Micah, Ava, Mason, Giavonna, Brock, Mya and baby Tann. Cherished "better half" of Jim "Woj". Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Preceded in death by her father, Donovan; sister, Dana; brother, Douglas and brother-in-law, Chester. Visitation at the Funeral Home Monday, May 4, 2015, 2:00-6:00 PM. Funeral Services at 6:00 PM.
