Michael Vern Werra, age 59, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2025. A talented painter by trade, he built a successful self-employed career in both residential and commercial painting, leaving a lasting impression on the homes and businesses. Mike took pride in his work, always ensuring that each project reflected his vibrant personality and attention to detail. In his recent years, he worked at St. Luke's hospital in Milwaukee where his work ethics were recognized by many.

Mike was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Monica Werra, and a proud father to their beloved daughter, Madelynn (Maddie). He will be immensely missed by his family, including his beloved mother, Yvonne Werra; his sister, Lauri (Keith) Klein; his brothers, John Werra and Greg (Angie) Werra; his sister-in-law, Jodi (the late Dan) Werra; his parents-in-law, Sebastian and Mary Ciardo; his brothers-in-law, Scott (Jessica) Ciardo and Tony (Candace) Ciardo; his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Matt, Stephanie, Katy, Hope, Josh, Alyssa W., Jon Paul, Alyssa C. and Jacob; and his great-nephews, Graham and Dan. In addition to his family, Mike shared his home with an affectionate cat named Molly. Mike was preceded in death by his father, John B. Werra and his brother, Dan Werra.

A true family man, Mike cherished every moment spent with his family. Mike had a fun-loving spirit that shone through in everything he did. His passions encompassed a wide range of interests; he embraced music and comedy with open arms, often filling his home with laughter and tunes. Mike had a whimsical side, always ready to be silly and make those around him smile.
