Died unexpectedly on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the age of 36 years. Beloved son, caring father to his beautiful daughters, treasured brother and friend to many. Michael had an enthusiasm for life whether it be providing the soundtrack to an event or attending a family party. He was fun loving and his spirit and laughter was contagious. Mike is survived by his sweet daughters Madeline and Mia. His adored mother Mary. His siblings David (Maria), Mark (Loni), Laurie (Cole) Thompson and Jared (Kristen). Mike was the proud uncle of Benedict, Tommy, Camilla and Vincent. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas and his step-father William Nerbun. Further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 3-7 PM. Prayer Service at 7 PM. Funeral Monday 10:15 AM from the Funeral Home to The Basilica of St. Josaphat for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment and military honors Tuesday 10AM at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Michael was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force / WI ANG.
